New versions of Juvlon APIs sendEmail() and sendSMS() have been released. These APIs come with multiple new features.
SendEmail()
The new version of the sendEmail() API caters to
- Attachments You can attach multiple files of allowable types (pdf, docx, xlsx, jpg, png etc) including calendar events (.ics). The attachment feature needs to be enabled for your Juvlon account which our CustomerFirst team will be happy to help you with.
- AMP Content Making your Emails interactive is possible with Accelerated Media Pages, ie, AMP for Email. Now you can send AMP content along with your regular email content using sendSMS().
- Easy analytics within Juvlon Analytics of emails sent through sendEmail() can now be viewed within Juvlon just like any other email sent from the user interface. Simply use the campaignName JSON parameter in the API to specify the name of the campaign. The specified campaign’s opens, clicks, bounces, opt-outs will be automatically visible as an email report in your Juvlon account.
SendSMS()
The new version of the sendSMS() API caters to
- Direct DLT Parameters Once you have your message approved from a DLT Service Provider (specific to India), you can directly use the relevant IDs (Entity, Header and Template) in the API and send the SMS. There is no need to specify the text of the message or the name of your Entity.
- Personalisation and Tracking Even though you don’t specify the text of your message, the sendSMS() API provides you a feature to specify multiple personalisation values for your message. If there is a personalised link, you can even enable tracking on the link which will be captured by Juvlon and show in the analytics of your SMS campaign.
- Easy analytics within Juvlon Analytics of SMS sent through sendSMS() can now be viewed within Juvlon just like any other email sent from the user interface. Simply use the campaignName JSON parameter in the API to specify the name of the campaign. The specified campaign’s clicks, non-deliveries will be automatically visible as an email report in your Juvlon account.
Both these APIs come with detailed response codes with JSON parameters for you to solve any problems.
